d.) LSD: LSD is perhaps one of the most well-known psychedelics out there. It was first synthesized via psychedelic research in 1938 by Dr. Albert Hofmann and gained popularity in the 1960s as part of the hippie movement. Timothy Leary and Richard Alpert where the ones who brought it to the mainstream and the masses promoting its widespread use and popularity.
