You want to learn to work on yourself, well let me tell you exactly how I did it. I’d have to say I know a thing or two about self-improvement from my own decades of self discovery and by working with experts through my work as a journalist and host. I’ve gleaned a lot of powerful insights.
My journey towards self-improvement is a long one. I’ve been doing the work for years now and I’ve dabbled in a lot of different alternative healing and training methods and modalities, yoga, meditation, energy working, tapping, and more. With all of my dedication I’ve learned an incredible amount and can say with the utmost humility it’s been a very long road, but I’ve learned an incredible amount from amazing teachers and sages along the way.
Now more than ever it seems prioritizing personal growth and self-improvement is even more important.
Here are 5 things I’ve done and continue doing to help me evolve and continue on my self-improvement journey.

Setting Goals To Work On Yourself
- One of the fundamental steps in self-improvement is setting clear and achievable goals. I set very specific targets so I can enhance my understanding of different subjects and continue my self-development growth. I am crystal clear about the goal and I keep it small and doable. I refine and renegotiate goals I set for myself to ensure I’m able to meet them without the overwhelm. Continuous Learning
- Learning is a lifelong process, and I am committed to always expanding my knowledge base. I am always reading, learning, asking questions of experts on the podcast. I continue learning online through courses, listening to wisdom on YouTube, listening to other podcasts and through ongoing exploration of art and culture.
Embracing Diversity
- Diversity enriches your life and learning experiences. I embrace diverse and unique perspectives, languages, and cultures to broaden my understanding and improve my ability to adapt, grow, learn and evolve. By actively seeking out and incorporating inclusivity into my development journey by trying new things and new modalities of self growth the journey to self development and self improvement becomes truly boundless.
Self-Reflection And Iteration
- Self-reflection allows me to evaluate my progress and learn to go deeper with myself. Through self-reflection I’m able to identify areas of strength and weakness, and implement iterative improvements and areas where I need to go deeper and continue growth. Through continuous self-assessment I know I’m striving to always enhance my performance and my continued evolution.
Conclusion:
Working on yourself is a continuous journey that requires dedication, perseverance, and a growth mindset. By setting goals, embracing continuous learning, embracing diversity and unique experiences, and practicing self-reflection.
